"Please Drive to Last Pump" Vintage Porcelain Gas Station Sign
A Genuine Piece of the American Service Station Era
This "Please Drive to Last Pump" vintage porcelain sign is an authentic relic from the golden age of American roadside service. Measuring approximately 12" tall by 6" wide, it's a single-sided sign with porcelain layered on the reverse as well — a hallmark of quality construction from an era when signage was built to last.
Signs like this one directed customers at busy gas stations across the country, likely in use prior to the 1990s — possibly much earlier. Porcelain signs were the gold standard of the industry: vibrant, weather-resistant, and virtually indestructible. They were eventually phased out due to higher production costs and longer lead times, making surviving examples increasingly rare and collectible.
