This No. 2 Diesel porcelain sign is a compact but pristine piece of early American fuel industry history. Measuring approximately 3" tall x 12" long, it's the kind of sign that would have been mounted directly on a pump or dispenser at a service station or farm supply depot — functional, durable, and built to last decades outdoors.

The porcelain is in excellent condition with only the common wear you'd expect around the mount holes — otherwise a clean, crisp example. Porcelain enamel signs like this were the industry standard from the early 1900s through the 1950s precisely because of their resistance to weather, fuel, and time.
