1980s Derico / Sarsaparilla Art Deco Design 1939 World's Fair DC-3 Bottle Lamp — Blue
A stunning Art Deco centerpiece from one of the most celebrated names in vintage reproduction collectibles — this is a 1980s–90s Derico (Rick Ramirez) / Sarsaparilla Deco Design 1939 World's Fair Bottle Lamp in the rare blue colorway, crowned with a beautifully detailed, illuminated DC-3 airliner.
This blue version is a step up from our white version: not only do the DC-3's lights illuminate, but the globe lights as well — and the whole lamp operates on a three-way switch, letting you run all lights together or each independently for a fully customizable display. A truly versatile and dramatic piece.
The DC-3 itself is a showstopper: 14" wingspan, 9" fuselage, and 7 windows, all in excellent condition with a gleaming chrome finish. The bottle base is equally clean and display-ready. Produced in limited quantities as high-quality tributes to the 1939 New York World's Fair, these lamps capture the streamlined optimism and bold design sensibility of the Art Deco era.
