This is an original single-sided porcelain advertising sign from Merchants Fast Motor Lines — a freight trucking company founded in Abilene, Texas in 1922. The company is long gone, which makes surviving examples of their signage genuinely rare. You're not going to find this at an antique mall. This is the kind of piece that shows up once and doesn't come back around.

At 50 inches wide by 30 inches tall, this is a large-format sign with real presence. The porcelain is heavy and substantial — built the way they built things in the early 20th century. There is some paint loss and light rust around the edges, consistent with its age and history, but all text remains fully legible and the sign displays beautifully. A T-63 marking is visible along the bottom center — likely an original inventory or route designation from the company itself.
